Description: This darling vintage terracotta bean pot belonged to my mother (she kept butter in a ramekin inside it, on the countertop). It is glazed on the interior and the top of the lid, has handles on each side. It is impressed in various areas with "Vallauris," "Made in France," and the number 16 on the bottom. It measures approximately 6.25" in diameter (8.75" with handles), and 3.25" in height without the lid (4.5" including lid). Some of the photos look a bit more beige than it is--it has a reddish cast to it. It is a charming little French piece in lovely vintage condition.
