Description: We have for sale a vintage kitchen labeled "100 % Pure Linen Made in USA" calendar/tea towel. It measures approximately 29.5" x 17" and is in nice used condition, with a slot for hanging on the wall. It features the calendar for year 1966, along with a charming street scene of the local "Green Grocier", "Annabelle's Fresh Flowers", & "French Pastries" while a police officer walks down the street toward a young boy and girl. The girl appears to be teaching her dog to jump through a hoop. There is a spot on the building "French Pastries" where a thread was not correctly woven into the towel and then dyed with the roof pattern, and an area to the right of the calendar area that has some blue dye in the margin. It also has a small spot at the bottom of the towel- (see pic) I did not attempt to launder the towel to remove the imperfection. This is from my mother Dorothy's (a Rosie the Riveter in WWII) collection. She was a fun, strong, and vibrant lady who had an eye for unique and beautiful items. Our hope is that these items find their way to people who will appreciate them as much as she did. Please look at all pictures and ask questions before purchase. Thank you!
