Cool find from the estate sale of a Torrance, CA 30 year postal employee. She was moving and personally running her sale so she was able to give information on her treasures. She said she was allowed to take this when an older post office was closed and cleared out. This hat has wear and tear from age and use which adds to its vintage appeal. There is some staining of the fabric and some cracking of the helmet - primarily on the rim and the top button which has been indented a bit.
