Description: Was told by the family this was from the WWII era, so can ONLY go by that. Measures about 5/8" from side to side of ring top edges, by about 13/16" from side to side, is about 7/8" from stone front to band back. Has NO visible cracks, or repairs on it, BUT the onyx stone with the USN & anchor is somewhat loose & appears to have a small welded area on the underside of the ring from about the top of the anchor(12 o’clock position) to about the 9 o’clock position.
