My reason for guessing this as, during the 1980s, some clothing was sizes as 0, 1, 2 or 3. 0 was an XS, 1 was and S, 2 was a M and 3 was a L. Pleases don’t go by a guess on size. please go by measurements to make sure they work for you. Vintage sizes tend to run differently than modern day sizes. See pics 9, 10, 11 & 12 for laying flat measurements. Guesstimate circa 1080s. If you know the era, you may recall a popular band who wore Union Jack/British Flag clothing. These shorts were an musical television fans dream at the time. Or, anyone who wanted to be a rock star. 100% cotton. They still feel crisp and so does the label. They may have never been washed or worn. If they were washed or worn, it cannot have been much. Elastic waist. So, waist has stretch. But, the fabric is not stretchy. No pockets. The color blue is not very dark. In my opinion, it’s brighter/lighter in person. My camera isn’t getting the color just right. These could be worn as boxers (but there is no fly). In my opinion ion, i wools wear them as shorts. Could be worn by anyone... by him or by her (deposing on your style). Any wear, imperfections, spots/stains/soiling or anything else is to be considered character or previously lined or vintage clothing. Made in Canada.
