Description: This is a great LARGE vintage platter. There are no markings on it, but I believe it is made in Japan, as its pattern is nearly identical to others I have that are stamped. This is a vintage transferware platter, featuring a handsome Tom turkey and various fruits and plants. There are a couple of small chips and a slight smudge to the paint in one location, but nothing out of the ordinary for an item of this age. The biggest flaw is a slight hairline crack that I believe is just in the finish - the platter itself feels structurally sound. Please see photos for closeups and decide for yourself. This big platter measures just over 20” wide - big enough to serve all of your friends and family for Thanksgiving celebrations for years to come.
