Vintage trumpet ‘ usa line ‘ GRBI / York Needs Work Pre WWII Brass Instrument

Description: TRUMPET antique musical instrument jazz / brass band trumpet Pre World War Two mfg Grand Rapids band instrument / GRBI , "USA Line" offshoot of York-branded instruments TRUMPET - needs work - for parts or restoration - It doesn’t work in its present state ! But looks complete brass ( not silver-plate ) The parts are generally interchangeable with the York brand line of instruments about 22” over all in length ( bell to mouthpiece) The original mouthpiece is intact The bell is severely dented Deep patina some of the tubes are bent and distorted the piston / valves still move This can be brought back to life with a little work ,.. Or it’s a great source for parts Over 80 years old - heavy old brass - It would make a great display piece ( the story is that it was salvaged from a airplane crash site during WWII ) don’t pass it up ! vintage trumpet or coronet The bell is severely dented. There are various dents elsewhere. There are no cracks or breaks The valves move up and down but will need cleaned and oiled , one spring is missing a great decorative item for your restaurant or bar
