This lovely pillow cover uses a gorgeous vintage toile dating c 1920-1930. There is a wonderful hunting scene with gentlemen on horseback with hunting dogs pursuing a deer. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. The entire cover appears to be hand stitched! The cover ends are decoratively finished with fabric covered buttons. The opening to insert a bolster pillow closes with little white buttons. The ground tone is a warm soft creamy white tone! A beauty! It would be beautiful in a period interior and could be used again as a pillow cover, but could be deconstructed to use the fabric for so many wonderful projects! MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately Length: 36 inches Width: 11 inches CONDITION: This pillow cover is in as-found condition for collectors but can be hand washed and hung to dry. It still has all of its buttons. The fabric covered buttons on the ends are a little bit worn. The rope under the fabric on the end is a little bit exposed due to some small holes.
