Description: vintage Taxco 925 sterling silver orange/red banded Agate pendant necklace The stone is set in a thick bezel in a closed back setting. The stone is an oval cabochon, a reddish / orange color with darker vertical banding that is almost a purple shade. I am really not sure what this stone is, maybe agate or sardonyx, The bail is big and will accommodate a larger chain or a leather cord, or even a sterling collar. The back is stamped Mexico TL-41 925 and is 1.5" including the bail and is 3/4" across.. It is suspended from a new old stock approx 2mm beaded sterling chain with lobster clasp. The chain is 16 inches.The weight of the necklace is 26 gramsGreat for a man or a woman.
