The hole in the brass plug is .20 mm and can be enlarged with a reamer or can be removed and then the hole in the hand is .85 mm. The hole in the hour hand is 1.55 mm. These are generic hands used in Europe for the watches with the steel post through the cannon pinion, some of the earlier pocket watches. Some of the hands will have surface rust from storage to remove. Minute hands have brass center hubs that can be removed to make a larger opening, or the brass hub center can be reamed out to enlarge to fit a larger minute post. The length of the minute hand is 19mm from the center of the hole to the tip of the hand. The size of the holes of the hands are: 1.60mm for the Hour hands, and .35mm for the Minute Hand. When the brass hub is removed with the staking set, the Minute Hand hole is then .90mm.
