Description: Vintage Strawberry Shortcake Lamp, American Greetings Corporation, 1980. The lamp base has a figure of Strawberry Shortcake sitting on top of a Strawberry. She is wearing a white hat with strawberries over it and green leaves at the top where the light fixture fits into the base.. The base with the Strawberry is 7 inches tall and 20 inches around. The Strawberry Shortcake figure is 6 1/2 inches tall. The base holding the light bulb is 4 inches tall. The lamp shade is a light cream colored with pictures of Strawberry Shortcake and her friends spread across the shade. It says "Strawberry Shortcake" below a picture of her, "It's 'berry' sweet to share a treat!" between two pictures of Strawberry Shortcake and her friends and "Good friends and good fun go together!" between another group of Strawberry Shortcake and her friends. The shade is 6 inches across the top and is 9 inches long and 10 inches across the bottom of the shade. There is a place on the back of the lamp shade in the seam that is about 2 inches long where it appears to be coming loose. There are 4 spots on the Strawberry base of the lamp where the red paint has come off and the white is showing. The lamp works perfectly. The lamp comes from a non-smoking home. A great vintage Strawberry Shortcake accessory to add to a collection.
