Description: JC Penney 8 Track Player Alarm Clock Model 680-3740. The unit is tested and working. All clock functions work. The 8 Track player works but is finicky. The capstan spins well but the belt is going so there is one sweet spot where the tape plays well. If you shove the tape in hard it will stop the capstan from spinning or cause it to spin slowly making the tape garbled. You have to gently insert the tape all the way and then slightly pull on the tape, taking the tension off the capstan so it can spin freely and play the tape.
