Description: VINTAGE STEIFF ORIGINAL JOINTED TEDDY 14" - c1950's GERMANY WITH TAG & BUTTON Click images to enlarge Description Offered for Sale is this Wonderful Vintage German Steiff Original Teddy with moveable arms, legs and head. The bear has a Yellow Ribbon around the neck and has the original ear tag (5340.02) and button. Based on my investigation, I date the button to the 1950's. Please view the photos to confirm my dating. This Vintage Steiff Animals would be a Great Addition to any Vintage / Antique Stuffed Animal Collection. Note: I am not an expert in the category of stuffed animals / Steiff animals. I have recently secured a collection of these animals that I will be listing. Size: 14" Height straight- 11" Height seated - 8 1/4" Wide arm to arm Condition: - Fair to Good Overall Used Condition. The Bear displays scattered wear and thinning of the hair. The center of the chest has a visible thread that probably had a tag attached to it at some point. The ribbon ends are a bit tattered. There is a tag and button on the ear.
