Description: Up for sale is a Vintage St. Johns University Shanghai Sterling Silver Diamond Jubilee Spoon. It measures approx. 4 1/2" long. It commemorates the diamond jubilee of the university 1879-1954. An event which unfortunately never took place as the university was shut down in 1952 due to historical events in the region. This leads me to speculate that the university had these made ahead of time in preparation for this celebration, which unfortunately never took place. Anything related to St. Johns University Shanghai is extremely hard to find. This is the only one I've been able to find. An extremely rare find. Add it to your collection today!
