Description: The SPORTS STARS Magazine / November 1951 was another item we recently brought out of a long storage this past summer. This issue has a fantastic Jackie Robinson cover and interior story. It features an article covering the young, 'rookie' Micky Mantle. This contains some nostalgic photos of Mickey during the 1951 Yankee's championship season. The cover maintains very vibrant colors. The issue has 100 pages. The pages are in very good condition. No missing or creased pages. Some of the pages have small corner folds/tears. I have pictured an example above. This is seen mostly within the first twenty five to thirty pages. The magazine shows some spine, corner and edge issues. These are pictured above. I believe the original newsstand 'stock date' is what is seen scripted under the word 'STARS' on the cover.
