Description: A wonderful souvenir T shirt from the early days of the Spoleto Festival, held annually in Charleston, S.C. This white T shirt features front graphics reading “Spoleto Festival USA 1982”. This is a Hanes brand shirt fashioned in a thin, soft 50/50 cotton/polyester blend and was Made in the USA. Tagged Size L but please remember this is a vintage garment so, if you intend to wear it, please check the measurements below: Across shoulders: 16.5 ins. / Across armpits: 19 ins. / Back of collar to bottom of hem: 25 ins. This shirt is in nice condition with some light pilling. No holes or tears. One feature to call to your attention is that the sleeve seams do not match perfectly (see photos) - a fairly common feature of T shirts of this vintage. Also, being a white shirt, there are a few small marks that I have noted. These include a small one on the left sleeve near the seam and a couple of very tiny ones about two inches below the collar. Also a small, faint mark between the “S” and “T” in the graphics and a couple of faint marks just below the graphics. There is a small spot on the hem near the bottom of the shirt and a very faint mark in the lower left corner. Please see the photos with the penny to judge size and location of these. All in all, nice condition for a white shirt of this vintage and a great collectible from the early days of this Charleston institution.
