This is a beautiful vintage Linde pink star sapphire ring from many years ago...over 45+ years...was a store display item. Linde star sapphires are SYNTHETIC sapphires of exceptional colors & quality. Production of these gemstones was halted in the mid 1970's due to the high cost. Certain colors/shapes are no longer available and some are in very short supply. The Linde brand was highly regarded in its day and still sought after. The original Linde trademark "L" is on the back of this stone (please see pic #7). This is an original Linde Star Sapphire manufactured BEFORE the mid 1970's.
