Description: For sale is this vintage Fulton smooth bottom plane, No. 4 size, measuring 2-3/16" wide X 9-3/8" long overall, with its tote extension. Signed "Made In U.S.A." on the body, and "Fulton" on the remnant of its tote handle label. Signed "Fulton Warranted BL", 1-3/4" X 6-5/8" blade iron has a good edge, which will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The knob is sound and solid, but the tote handle has been broken off at the top, as pictured. Much of the original Black Japanning is long gone, and there is some rust, as well. Nice vintage plane for tuning up as a everyday user, or as a possible candidate for a full restoration. Please view all of the pictures to determine condition for yourself.
