Description: A beautiful example of Chinese bamboo wicker animal craftsmanship, this set was designed and made by the renowned Shengxian Artistic Bamboo Weaving Factory. The wicker Angelfish box set includes two pieces (as seen in the factory catalog) and is a rare find in its complete form. Although it has minor flaws, the set remains both strikingly beautiful and functional. Vintage Chinese Wicker Angelfish Box Set •Condition: Pre-owned (Fair to Good) •Dimensions: Small box: 9.25” x 7” x 6”; Large box: 7.8” x 8” x 9” •Material: Bamboo •Design Serial Number: HC5C1935 Condition Notes: 1.Dust between bamboo strips due to age and use. 2.Wear to the varnish, consistent with age and use; clean interior 3.Tip of the Angelfish’s top fin shows damage, with splits in some areas due to age.
