Description: Vintage Sears Craftsman 3 pc.12 pt. Box-End Wrench Set, ca. 1944-1945This listing is for a used Craftsman 3 pc. 12 pt. box-end wrench set as follows:1-Craftsman 9/16” x 5/8”-12 pt. Box-End Wrench, 9-1/2” long1-Craftsman 11/16” x 13/16”-12 pt. Box-End Wrench, 10-7/8” long1-Craftsman 15/16” x 1”-12 pt. Box-End Wrench, 13-5/8” longThe wrenches are pre =V= wrenches and were produced in the latter WWII years up to 1945.During this period Sears selected several manufactures to compete in producing tools for the “modern” Craftsman raised panel wrench line-up. McKaig-Hatch, Wilde and Moore Drop Forging are known to be amongst the manufacturers competing for the contract. The only marking on the wrenches is a forged “O” on the larger two, which I believe to be a date code. The wrenches are in good usable condition with no rust or owner’s marks and they retain most of the cadmium plating. There are minor nicks and scratches consistent with an old used tool. The pictures are part of the description. These items come from a smoke and pet free home.Your satisfaction is guaranteed and important to me.Net weight is 1.16 lbs. Shipping weight is 1.50 lbs.Pickup in East Dundee, IL or shipped via USPS in a padded envelope.
