Description: This listing is for a Santa Through The Ages Christmas Ornament for the Year 1897 in the blue box only. Any other items pictured are for sale in other listings in our Ebay Store and are not included in this listing. Be sure and check them out also. This listing is for a Santa Through The Ages Christmas ornament. It is for the Year 1897. In 1897, a little girl named Virginia O'Hanion added a moving chapter to the story of Santa Claus. Virginia, wrote to the New York Sun for the true story. "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus." wrote Francis P. Church in his now famous reply. "He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist." This ornament is in good condition. He is 2 3/4" tall. This one comes in a blue box which does have a torn flap but it is in the box. I am also listing the same one that is in a red box. The ones in the blue box seem to be an updated version. The red box ones are made to look vintage and the blue box ones are not, they have brighter color and no brown tints to them. Any questions just message me. Thanks for looking. U.S. shipping costs are included in the price. Ships to lower 48 states only.
