Description: Vintage Sansui G-3500 AM/FM Stereo Receiver Unit has been comprehensively restored. I recapped 90% of capacitors (including filter caps), a couple output transistors (thermal compound included), a few suspect resistors, and I tested every transistor and diode to make sure everything was within healthy operating ranges. Replaced incandescent lamps with 6V LEDs, and upgraded old lamp wires. Applied a generous amount of deoxit to all switches and knobs to remove gremlins. Set power bias to recommend specs (9.5 mv), and verified zero d/c offset at speaker terminals. Polished rust and grime off underside, and cleaned face with WD40. Performed burn in test for a few days to confirm performance. Sounds great, and packs a punch actually for a smaller sized amp. I’ve sold a couple of amps over eBay, and I make a point to pack very securely and will insure. Check out my reviews.
