Description: This is highly collectible vintage kitsch in a vinyl rubber doll made in Japan in the late 60s/early 70s. It is signed Japan at the back neck and sole of one foot. It may be an Iwai doll or a Moody Cutie doll, part of the 'emotion doll' collection that was popular in Japan in the 60-70s and growing more so today. This one has straight bright red hair, hand-painted on face and apparel of yellow and white collared top, and red suspender skirt. Open mouth as if a pacifier accessory was once present. The head can turn. 3” tall. Very good vintage condition, minimal paint chips. No pacifier.
