Description: This is a rare adorable handcrafted rooster Christmas ornament made in China from around the 1940's or 1950's. He's a cute detailed chicken that's made of many small colorful flat pieces of enameled and lacquered wood and straw and his wire feet are wrapped in colorful thread to resemble real chicken legs. He measures approximately 2 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" long and 1 1/8" wide. The maker's original sticker is on the bottom. He's in very nice condition with light wear consistent with age including scuffs, scratches and enamel loss.
