Description: Vintage Risdon P&A Mfg Co. Crackle Amber Golden Globe Oil Lamp w/ Ball Shade. An incredible lamp producing a stunning warm amber gold glow. Gorgeous golden color in natural window light! The base stands 7 1/2” tall, has 3 feet, and bears a numbered mould mark on the bottom. The clear chimney included measures 8” tall. No chips cracks or breaks. It is a replacement for an original, presumably at least an 8” or 10-12” chimney. The ball shade measures 8” tall. The large bottom opening has a 4 1/8” diameter. No cracks, no visible issues. The exterior bottom rim is curved and is smooth to finger touch. Full disclosure: The interior of the bottom rim has a few minor rough spots or chips that can be felt by finger touch and may or may not be related to wear or manufacturing, found on the bottom flat and interior. The smaller top opening has a 3” diameter. No issues. Both interior and exterior of rim is smooth. The burner is P&A Eagle with partial wick and includes the metal support ring or shelf piece to hold the ball shade in place, which is removable and loose by design.
