Description: SUMMARY: A near mint and rare, solid 14k gold ladies Swiss Doxa wrist watch, with an integral solid 18k gold watch band. The watch is guaranteed to be an authentic Doxa solid gold wrist watch. The watch is truly in fine condition, having just been overhauled, cleaned and restored by our Rolex trained watch-maker, who is a true perfectionist with his work. Please do not confuse the quality and condition of our high grade wrist watches with others you might see on eBay. Mint watches in this condition, can only rise in value, given the limited supply of such items. THE DIAL: 98% mint, the satin cream dial with raised gold batons and signed Doxa. Dial with gold dauphine hands. Diameter is 18 mm. The new crystal is also in excellent condition. THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with silver steel colored plates. The watch with a compensated regulator and two arm bimetallic balance, with over-coiled hairspring. The movement fully signed "Doxa SA", and with 17 jewels. The movement with a rose gold colored, Doxa stamped winding button. The movement is a Doxa calibre. THE CASE: 100% mint, the solid 14k rose gold case measures 20 mm outside diameter and 27 mm to ends of lugs. The two piece piece case is in excellent condition, with a snap on solid 14k gold back. The watch case with 14k and 0.575 marks, Swiss hall-marks, "Universal". The case also clearly numbered, 6791B-14 and total weight is ca. 33 grams. THE BRACELET: 100% mint, the watch comes with its original solid 18k yellow gold integral watch band which will fit most ladies wrists and measures ca. 16.5 cm and the buckle allows for one adjustment to decrease to size of 16.0 cm. The watch also has a new leatherette presentation box to store the watch in when not in use. Overall, this is a very fine and highly desirable Swiss Doxa 18k gold wrist watch, dating from 1971. The watch keeps excellent time and is very usable for every-day wear or for best wear on holidays and birthdays.
