Description: Vintage Retro Art Deco Industrial Look Atomic Desk/Table Lamp With Metal Shade This is a really cool lamp that used to be in grampa's garage office. I don't know how old it is but I suspect it will be an antique before too long. For sure it's vintage. It's unbranded, has a nice long cord, and uses a pull chain to turn on/off. The pull chain is neat because the actual pull part is in a star/flower shape- don't see those much anymore. All original. Lamp is articulated which means you can adjust the lamp shade to get the precise angle of light you need- please view pictures. Lamp is original brown painted metal, base has a couple rings and is elevated, post is ridged all the way around, and the top light shade has two thin metal bands that go across the front with an accenting metal vertical piece in the middle giving the lamp a style of it's own. The lamp vents the heat generated by the bulb out 4 slits that are behind the stainless bands. Nice wide base allows lamp to sit level and securely. Pull chain works easily. Lamp has been tested, works, cord is intact, a bit dusty behind the bands, minimal surface rust inside shade, paint wear and minimal rust on outside of shade. Lamp will not come with light bulb. Lamp stands about 10" in height. A little clean up/paint restore would make this a one of a kind conversation piece in your shop or home. Please view all pictures.
