Description: Add some vintage charm to your holiday dcor with this rare Happy Holidays lighted sign by Markee. The two-piece plastic light-up sign is a perfect addition to your Vintage Christmas displays. This collectible item was manufactured in the early 1970s by Markee and is sure to add nostalgia to any holiday setting. The sign is in two pieces as you can see in the photos. The HAPPY section measures 22" across x 9" tall x 2" deep. The back is like a foam board material that holds a string of 3 lights. The light bulbs will need to be replaced. The back was originally held on with clips. The clips were missing on both signs. The HOLIDAYS section of the sign measures 26" long x 9" tall x 2" deep. It has a string of 4 lights that will also need to be replaced. The previous owners had held the backs on with duct tape and the sticky remains can still be seen. The clips are just a U-shaped plastic clip that can be purchased at any hardware store. The light bulbs are just clear C7 bulbs. There are some areas of paint wear and loss. The red areas were previously touched up. There are no cracks in the plastic and the cords are in good condition as well. This is a unique addition to your vintage holiday collection.
