Description: You are bidding on a Vintage RARE 1944 Simplex Waltham 8 Day Guardsmen Handheld Time Clock Recorder. Condition: Clock comes as is, as seen from pictures. Comes with the necessary tools, but i do not know for sure if the clock works. I hear ticking when I try turning the wind up mechanism inside, but clock face does not move. Comes with key to open the clock and wrench to wind the clock. Clock has lots of scratches and scuffs on the inside and outside. Has some pencil markings on the inside as well. Made by Simplex in 1944. Model is the Time Detector No. 179143, or the Waltham 8 Day Clock. Used by prison guardsmen to track time.
