It has 3 men with one holding an oar or paddle. Etched on the back SINGLE SCULLS. So that event would have been rowing. It is also marked Plated and another word that I cannot decipher. I assume that this would be the event by the Potomac River Sailing Association. Please review the photos, as always they are the best description.
