Description: Here for sale, a fully refurbished 1930s Premier Dominion snare, a top of the line drum back in the day. When I acquired this it was in a bit of a state. The internal parallel mechanism was only 50% there, all the wrap was gone and it only had one original hoop. So all the mech holes were plugged and a later Premier strainer and butt installed. All edges were checked and sanded and the interior got a repaint in off white. Another hoop was found and the whole thing got a rewrap in Delmar Green Sparkle. It has come out well, should be good for another 80 years ... 14x6.5 birch shell with solid rerings. Eight early Ace double ended lugs, slot headed tension bolts all round. Excellent engraved pressed hoops plus replacement strainer/butt and original damper. Original pre war rare brass badge with good calf head to batter and new Aquarian to reso plus new 20 strand bronze wires. Ready to go straight out of the box this drum is capable of a wide tuning range with plenty of bark and sublime sensitivity.
