Description: Old unposted postcard of the AGENA 10 rocket. Part of the Gemini Program, the AGENAs were unmanned docking modules launched hours apart from the Gemini 8,9,10,11 and 12 manned launches. They were used to allow Astronauts to learn and practice docking maneuvers. Launched by the THOR and ATLAS rockets, these modules reached an orbit over 300 miles. After the missions, the modules orbit would eventually decay. The rendering of this postcard was shot through multi-color filters to show sound wave vibrations. Nice card. Thanks for looking!
