Description: For sale is a vintage circa 1940's, The Adventures of Pinocchio by C. Collodi with Illustrations by Helene Carter and printed on the spine of the dust jacket is; Thrushwood Edition. This 195 page book is complete and in overall nice vintage condition with both color, lithographed and black and white illustrations. The dust jacket has age related wear, i.e. small tears and edge wear but it has the original Boston Store paper price tag with 1.00 on the inside edge of the dust jacket. The blue cloth covers of the book and in nice clean condition as is the embossed orange decoration and lettering. There is a name and address of the previous owner written on the inside page and there is some very minor finger soiling. There are no tears or odors and all of the pages are firmly attached.
