Description: c. 1950s Vintage hand-painted National Society of Pershing Rifles hazing paddle owned by Charles Anderson (1941-2002), a 1962 graduate of Morgan State College (now University), and Baltimore County school system educator. Anderson was a member of the Morgan College chapter of the Pershing Rifles, a United States military-oriented collegiate drill unit. This particular piece features the Pershing Rifles logo on one side and Anderson's nickname along with the name of a young woman he likely "pinned".
