Description: Also known by A la Reine des Abeilles (The Queen Bee), Parfumerie Violet was one of the first perfume houses established in France, dating back to 1828. Some evidence suggests that it may have existed even earlier. In 1910, Violet released Valreine, which was contained in a flacon designed and produced by Baccarat. For sale is, here, is an example of that flacon. It stands 4 3/8" to the top of the stopper. The Baccarat emblem is etched into the base. The bottom edge of the stopper and mouth of the bottle are rather rough, as you can tell from the pictures. There are several small chips in the top edges of the stopper, but none that significantly alter its shape or that might be seen at a glance. There's a similarly minor chip to the edge of the bottle's base. Otherwise, it's in good condition.
