Description: Vintage Parker 61 Fountain Pen Connector, For Partsc. 1953-1983This listing is for a Parker 61 fountain pen connector part. It is used in a converter/cartridge Parker 61 filling system. It is not for converting a capillary filling Parker 61 into a cartridge or convertor filling system. The reason is that the barrels on most Parker 61 capillary filling pens had more coarse barrel threading than the threading on this connector. All this means that most Parker 61 capillary pen barrels have coarser threading than the threading on this connector and won't screw on correctly.Note: This connector has different size threading for the Parker 61 hood(more coarse threads) than for the barrel threads(finer threading)( see pictures). This means that the barrel you have will need to have the fine threading like on this connector. Most all of the hoods for Parker 61 capillary filling pens have the coarse threading and therefore will fit this connector.
