Description: Vintage Pair of Asian Gold Painted Silk Guanyin? in Gold Bamboo-Style Frames This set came from an with artwork collected during the mid-twentieth century. There was no information regarding origin, age, subject matter, language, or material used. It appears to be a Chinese depiction of Guanyin/Kwan Yin painted on silk. It may even be chinoiserie as Asian designs were quite popular. The fabric under the glass is 38 inches tall land 12 1/2 inches wide. The entire frames measure 44 3/4 x 18 3/4 inches. The frame is gold-painted wood, carved to look like bamboo. We are a small business that curates vintage & unique finds!
