Description: Vintage Original 1940s Royal Marines Khaki Flannel Collarless Shirt Size 15 1/2 collarpit to pit approx 21" acrossBack length 36"Includes 2 x collarsA rare original 1940s Royal Marines pattern khaki flannel collarless shirt in as new condition. The pattern of shirt is specific to the Royal Marines and much more rare than the standard British Army Pattern. It is made from a khaki green coloured flannel wool as was used by the British military for a number of years. It features a full button front and pleated pockets are located to the chest. A neckband collar is also present and is made from khaki coloured cotton drill. It has buttonholes which allow it to be worn with a detachable collar. Although this a genuine vintage issue shirt it is like new. Never been worn, as still has the fold creases from being in the pack when issued. Just has a name printed on the lower rear from being issued at the time.
