Description: THE Classic light , I lent this example to the VIctoria & Albert Museum and it has just been returned. i THINK it looks like someone painted the base blue & then it has been removed except for a few flakes. The lamp was inspired by Bauhaus designs , like the building behind the Mansion HOuse built by Peter Palumbo and was reviewed in the Architects Journal and was hailed as the first manifestation of Bauhaus in England. All moving parts move smoothly without friction and don't scratch each other. just perfect engineering ! It has a horrible 1950's shade with water stain Max Height 80cm Average Height 70cm Base Diameter 20cm It has a plug fitted but is sold as a WORK Of ART - you must get it tested locally before use .
