Vintage - Nojae of Fairway Quilt Kit - Swirl Design

Description: Vintage Nojae of Fairway Quilt Kit - Swirl Design - Blocks ONLY First, I have had this kit for over 30 years, if not longer, but never got around to doing it. This listing if for a quilt top made up of quilt blocks, by Nojae Of Fairway (72 x 72). The top is made up of 16 large blocks, that is like a swirl design, I hope you can see in the pictures. These blocks are 18 inches square that you have to embroider and then sew together. This block set was sold separately, you had to create your own border or purchase the border kit. This kit has instructions for Ribbon Embroidery, but you can do it in regular embroidery stitches if you preferred, that is what I had intended to do. This is not a cross stitch quilt top, it is all embroidery. You will use stem or back stitch, along with a lazy daisy stitch. The suggested colors are on the hangtag with the approximate number of skeins. The fabric is 50/50 Polycotton creases resistant. The only thing I really disliked about purchasing any of these items, were they were not packaged, but had the cardboard header hang tag stapled to the fabric, quilt kits, boarder, blocks, no matter, this is the way they were done. So you have to be extremely careful when removing the staple. Most of the items were sold at farm supply stores or from her on-line.
