Description: This vintage slide rule and pencil set is housed in a leather case. The case and slide rule are stamped with “Made in Western Germany”; a unique find for collectors and enthusiasts alike. This set includes a Nestler Rietz slide rule, number 0123 shows signs of wear but is in good working condition. On the back, the slide rule displays the logo of the Rheem Manufacturing Company. The rotary dialer pencil KS8300 is also in good condition and adds a touch of history to this piece. The leather case measures approximately 6.25" x 4" when folded. When opened, the Rheem Manufacturing Company logo is displayed on the left side and features purposefully designed pockets housing both the slide rule and pencil, while additional compartment on the right offers convenient space for paper. The case shows extensive wear, partially in the outside fold area. Some of the stitching on the edges has come apart. Please see pictures.
