Description: Vintage MUSICAL JOLLY CHIMP – battery-operated mechanical toy by CK/Daishin, made in Japan, No. 7061, with the original packaging, circa the 1960s or 70s. Currently doesn’t work, but there are videos on Youtube that show how to repair them; until it’s fixed it’s still a great display piece. When it does, the eyes bulge, it chatters its teeth and plays the cymbals. Box measures 11x9x6 inches. Condition is EX/VG: the toy itself is EX in appearance, the clothes and fur are clean, no rubbing to hands or feet, super clean; box has fading to the top and sides, small hole, some wrinkles and general rubbing to extremities; one side has a 2-inch tear and small corner chip.
