Description: Vintage Minton ~ Oberon ~ Petal Bowl Description – The petal bowl is scalloped bone china. The pattern is Oberon. The motif design resembles Peking Opera headdresses or fans and floral. The bowl coloring is vermilion red, mustard yellow, black, gold trim on a white blank. Oberon is the King of the Fairies. Dimensions – Bowl rim diameter is approximately 4 ½”, 2 ¼” tall. Condition – Bowl previously owned with no obvious crazing, cracks, or chips. Gold trim slightly worn. Brand – Minton pattern Oberon possibly discontinued, from 1951 to 1968. This Minton backstamp introduced in 1951. In 1968 Minton merged with Royal Doulton. Petal bowl made in England.
