Description: Welcome to Emma's Loft! Here is a lovely, hand-painted porcelain/ceramic brooch depicting a tiny, detailed bird's nest with three delicate little eggs. The nest is perched on a bough with several branches sprouting pretty, pink buds. This brooch is vintage, and the imagery has an impressionistic feel. I couldn't say exactly how old the pin is, but I believe it's a midcentury piece. It is also signed, but I'm unable read the signature. Possibilities include B. Thomas or Thomie. Perhaps you will have better luck with identifying the artist. The pin does not include any backing or setting (see photos), so you have the opportunity to choose your own backing style to coordinate with the colors, theme and shape of the brooch any way you wish.
