Description: ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage six-color relief etching on arches paper titled "Spawning" by Hungarian Artist, GABOR PETERDI (1910-2001). Circa '50s. This limited edition art is numbered (92/200), and is signed in graphite along the lower edge of the paper (see photos). The artwork is framed with a thin edge metal frame, and there is textured charcoal-colored matting directly surrounding it. It's a great piece of mid century art that'll look great in any modern interior setting. MEASUREMENTS: Including the frame and matting, this piece of artwork measures approx. 21" tall x 25" wide. The visible artwork alone, excluding the frame and mating, measures approx. 13.5" tall x 18" wide. CONDITION: Very good condition. Minor light wear consistent with age and handling. The artwork is free from rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, etc. The metal frame shows minor abrasions (ie. small light scuffs), but is structurally solid. There is a wire hanging mechanism stretched across the reverse side of the frame for hanging / display purposes. The brown paper lining on the back side has wear and should be replaced.
