Description: Vintage Mid Century Art Deco 1950's Mirror Glass & Hand Painted Flower Mantel Desk Clock ~ Clock movement piece by Lanshire Chicago Il ~ Clock does work and keep time. What a unique and different clock this is. The one glass panel (the one at the top) had a piece of glass broken off which has been superglued back in place. You can see where the damage was (photo 15-18 shows some different angles). No other chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. I also noticed the 4 metal ornate corners 2 of them are a little loose which makes those glass slides a tad loose. The little screws/nuts on the back are rusty and I didn't want to try to tighten or loosen them for fear of causing damage. Although they are a little loose the clock is still functional and stands properly as you can see in the photos. I will take extra care in packaging. Measures approximately 10" x 9" x 3 3/4". Weighs 3 pounds 5 ounces (prior to packaging)We buy most of our pieces at auctions, flea markets & yard sales so we may not know the history of the item.
