Description: Who's a good puppy!? This little hound! This hound brooch is made from layered, etched pewter by Metzke Designs, Inc. Metzke Designs started in 1963 in Tallahassee, FL, by a Dr. and his wife, and their pieces were so popular they quickly became one of America's largest pewter giftware manufacturers. They closed in 1997, pushed out by competing imported/foreign pewterware. The brooch is in nice condition and the back is secure. Measure just short of 1" x 1.5" Adopt a pooch today!
