Description: Once a fixture in most 1940s and 50s kitchens, the ubiquitous metal bread box is now used to hold items other than bread. The graphics were often flowers, but also popular were kitchen-related graphics. This particular box features a whimsical chef with his toque and is, I think, absolutely charming. The box is in good, age-related condition -- there are minimal scratches, a bit of rusting, all giving the piece its requisite aged appearance. There are no dents and the hinged red lid fits well.The metal bread box is approx. 14" long x 10" deep x 6" high.
