This wood & vinyl case was produced to hold Stainless, Sterling or Silverplate flatware, designed for a service of 12 plus serving pieces - the size was ideal for storage in a side buffet drawer. The case exterior has a vintage faux leather look, however with edge wear, a few tiny rips (the former owner touched up) and a rectangular blemish near the corner on top - (the low asking price reflects this) most likely from years of closet or buffet drawer storage - please see all photos. The case interior shows normal past use with no rips, stains or odors. The case lid has 12 slots for dinner knives, the base has 8 slots with a small gap at either end for additional knives.
