Description: Offered is a pre-owned vintage mid-century look "signed" 12 inch diameter heavy hammered copper plate, tray, or platter. There are of course a few copper trays for sale here, yet this one exhibits confident character and grit. Its edge bears 5 notched creases and is smooth but not rolled. Bottom exhibits some verdigris in a grid-pattern from a contact transfer (see photo). Inner/upper surface shows some very fine scratches, a number of small dark spot stains, and patina. Seller cannot identify or provide information on the maker, however the underside is signed or scribed "F. Fineberg" (see photos). The tray stands on 4 small green felt foot pads and is a substantial one, at 1 pound 7 ounces weight!
